Description of the role:

Helping to provide fun activities for children and young people from Service families. We run play sessions and youth clubs for children and young people in Killinghall and Ripon.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

You should enjoy working with children, young people and groups and have an interest in helping to organise activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, baking and games.

Practical information:

Up to 2 hours a week term-time, or on a regular basis.
You will receive an induction into your volunteering role, training (e.g. Introduction to Play Work / Youth Work, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, basic First Aid) and receive ongoing support from a Community Development Worker.
