Inspired by the BBC's Helicopter Heroes? Help us to continue providing a rapid-response emergency service throughout Yorkshire. To go on saving lives, we need to raise £9,990 a day to keep both our ambulances maintained and in the air. You will accept donations on behalf of the charity and make a small speech when required. In return you will: - gain fantastic volunteer experience - strengthen your CV or job applications - be invited to interesting and fun events - go to quarterly volunteer meetings with guest speakers - enjoy social events with the volunteer team throughout the year - meet new people and make friends
Previous experience of public speaking, excellent communication skills, courteous, confident, diplomatic, punctual, reliable, trustworthy.

Established in Oct 2000, YAA is a rapid response emergency service dedicated to the people of Yorkshire. We currently have two aircraft that serve the whole region and these are located from the Air Support Units at Leeds Bradford Airport and Sheffield City Helipad. Our mission is to save lives across the region and this is made possible through the generosity of individuals who give up their time to raise vital funds and raise awareness of the charity.
