Do you have the skills and experience to use video cameras, edit digital footage and put together short films or video pieces? Orb would like to hear from volunteers interested in making promotional and documentary material for use on our website and beyond and who would be interested in mentoring vulnerable people in the use of film making and editing material to make their own projects a reality. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to develop their skills tackling real and unique filming briefs.
There are no formal qualifications required for this role, but clearly we are looking for a skilled and experienced volunteer. Experience in digital filmmaking would be an added bonus. Volunteers with teaching and facilitation skills would be advantageous.
Volunteers would be based at our main office and studio at the Garage, Elephant and Castle Yard, Knaresborough but would also be invited to attend and record live events, gigs, shows etc.
