Harrogate Homeless Project is a registered charity providing a successful rough sleeper resettlement scheme, hostel and move-on accommodation and a day service, Springboard. The project supports vulnerable adults with a variety of support needs including drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues and other often complex needs.

We have recently reviewed our organisational structure and we have an exciting new opportunity for a Support Team Manager to join our management team. The main purpose of this role is to manage and develop our team of support workers to ensure that we are providing consistent and empowering support to those using our services. The support team will work across all Harrogate Homeless Project Services from those who are rough sleeping and accessing our day service to those who are in our accommodation or receiving floating support.

Previous experience of support work, line management, working with people with multiple complex needs and experience of working within homelessness would be preferred. In return we offer a dynamic, growing and well-supported environment where making a difference to both the individuals we support and the local community is our priority.

This is a full-time post and will normally be worked between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility to vary working hours to cater to the needs of the business as well as providing out of hours on call support. The starting salary is £27,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
