Job Description: 

As a key member of the Community Relationships team, this role will have specific responsibility for growing the relationships that North Yorkshire Hospice Care has with legacy and in memoriam supporters.

In memoriam and legacy giving forms the foundation for the services delivered at North Yorkshire Hospice Care, and not only will this post hold responsibility for driving their income target, but they will also have a key focus in educating and ensuring in memoriam and legacy giving features in all aspects of the organisation’s work.

This role will work with the Head of Community Support and wider Community Relationships Team to create, implement and deliver robust data-driven in memoriam giving and legacy fundraising strategies for acquisition, retention, and income growth, focusing on lifetime value, and a long-term vision that utilises all three brands (Just ‘B’, Saint Michael’s, and Herriot Hospice Homecare).

Other responsibilities will include supporting service users and families who wish to become ‘supporters’, working with Marketing & Communications colleagues, and providing effective line management, support, and development.
