Learning & Development Manager - Head Office, Harrogate (Ref H237)
22.5 hours per week
Circa £35,000 per annum (pro rata)

We are looking for an experienced people leader who is passionate about the progression and nurturing of individuals, who will be responsible for designing blended training programs which are engaging, interactive and in which Avalon’s values are embedded.

As the Learning & Development Manager, you will lead a small award winning L&D training team, and will be responsible for supporting compliance and driving a learning culture across our locality teams, as well as bringing together the vast knowledge from across the charity to support L&D delivery.

The successful candidate will also be comfortable delivering training, possessing a sound knowledge of apprenticeships, qualifications and external funding, and having the ability to implement new efficient processes utilising I.T systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience/knowledge of working in Health & Social Care and have relevant experience in training delivery and/or a recognised qualification in training/L&D.

Ideally the successful candidate will be working 3 days (to be agreed at time of appointment), working flexibility to meet the needs of the business. We support agile working and there will be opportunities to work from home. There may also be a requirement to travel so access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes with a full valid driving licence is desirable.
