Job Description: 

The purpose of this role is to support our partner organisations with the financial and audit requirements on our Action Towards Inclusion (ATI) project. ATI is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund and supports individuals across York, North Yorkshire, and East Riding to transform their lives and overcome barriers and obstacles that have held them back.

The role will provide monthly support to a caseload of partner organisations to submit timely, accurate and compliant financial claims to evidence their monthly expenditure on the programme. It will also undertake monthly audits of evidence previously submitted to test internal verification processes. The post holder will embrace the challenge of learning the programme rules and requirements and respond well to a structured and deadline-focused environment.

Finance and Audit Coordinator applicants will have strong numeracy skills and an exceptional eye for detail. You will embrace the challenge of learning the programme rules and requirements and respond well to a structured and deadline-focused environment. You will also be effective in building strong working relationships with partner organisations to support them in meeting the requirements of the programme. The role will include a comprehensive induction and training programme so prior experience in this field is not required.
