Job Description:

About us…
We are a values-based and people-focused non-profit organisation based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. We work with a partnership of small, locally based non-profits and charities to deliver programmes that help people to transform their lives. We
are a Mindful and Disability Confident Employer and we invest a lot in supporting our people to thrive in their lives and work.

We had a lot of fun making a video of 10 Reasons you might want to work with us that you can find it here:

Due to COVID-19, we are currently working fully remotely and will provide the successful applicant with equipment, training and support to enable this. We have plans to return to our office base in Knaresborough in the future, so candidates must be able to travel to this location when office working resumes.

About the role…
We are currently recruiting for an exciting role in our Action Towards Inclusion team, which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. This important role supports the project with a range of coordination responsibilities. Here is a short summary…

The Finance and Audit Coordinator will support a caseload of partner organisations to submit timely, accurate and compliant financial claims to evidence their monthly expenditure on the programme and undertake audits of past claims.

About you…
The most important thing about you is that you watched our recruitment video and thought “I want to work there!” We are proud to have built a unique culture that values everyone and every person is important in upholding this.

We are looking for someone who care deeply about making a difference within our communities and believes in the power of human potential. You will be a quick and enthusiastic learner and will respond well to feedback from your line manager that will support your continued growth and development.

Applicants will have strong numeracy skills and an exceptional eye for detail. You will embrace the challenge of learning the programme rules and requirements and respond well to a structured and deadline-focused environment.

The role will include a comprehensive induction and training programme so prior experience in this field is not required.

If this sounds like the kind of place you’d like to work and you feel you are a good fit for the role, we’d love to hear from you. A full Job Descriptions and Personal Specification is available below – along with an Equality Monitoring Form so we can analyse the reach of our opportunities.

Application is by CV with a comprehensive covering letter detailing how you meet the requirements of the Job Description and Person Specification. Please send your completed CV, covering letter and equality monitoring form to
