Ripon & Rural Voluntary Car Driving Service

During the coronavirus outbreak this service was suspended but has now re-started to offer transport to passengers without any other means to attend Covid-19 vaccinations and other essential health appointments.

The Ripon and Rural Voluntary Car Driving service provides door-to-door transport for non-urgent trips. We help local people without access to their own transport and unable to use public transport due to mobility, disability or location to make journeys to: - Appointments - hospital, GP, dental, optical and podiatry - Day centres and lunch clubs - Shops, bank, post office and other essential trips - Social visits to relatives, hairdressers etc. We help people living in Ripon, Nidderdale, Masham, Pateley Bridge and the surrounding villages to make local journeys.
